Product Details
The traditional indoor game of Aligulimane, a member of the Mancala game family, has its roots in the age-old concept of sowing and reaping, which is an essential aspect of rural life in India. Originally played with tamarind seeds or cowrie shells on a wooden or metal board, or even on the veranda floors with cups carved into stone slabs, this game has a long history and can be found in different parts of the world under different names like Mancala, Kalaha, Oware, and Wari. But that's not all - the game board itself has an interesting story. We have created it using recyclable waste generated from the packaging materials of food, pharma, and personal care products! Your game set comes with either shells or tamarind seeds.
