The citron is cut and left to rest with salt, to the point where the skin softens to the perfect consistency. It is then mixed with traditional spices. This pickle is not cooked at any stage, making it an absolute winner for your gut . Ingredients - Narthangai (citron), Gingelly oil, Salt, Red chillies, Jaggery, Mustard, Turmeric, Fenugreek, Asafoetida Keep refrigerated. Always use a dry spoon. Consume within 12 months from date of manufacture.
About the brand
We are a production centre which works on converting farm produce into value added products. We work with rural women from the villages near our farm, where we reside and practice farming the organic way. Our current offerings (pickles & jams) are made with traditional recipes the old fashioned way using produce from our farm / farms around us. We also run a farm stay where we welcome guests to experience life on a small farm in rural Tamil Nadu.
