Navyatha Creations
When we thought of launching our own fashion brand we made an effort to explore the deep pockets within the state than aping another western design and we came across this beautiful fabric ‘Guledgudda Khun’ which, of the late is rarely seen beyond some rural habitats in north Karnataka. Guledagudda is a small town in Bagalkot district in North Karnataka, local weavers use pure cotton and silk thread to create this hand woven fabric, a pure art of intricate work, design invented and preserved by these local weavers. We at ‘Navyatha’ would try to give a different touch to this age-old rural fabric and do our bit to bring it to main stream fashion.
