This is a vibrant and intricately detailed traditional Indian painting depicting the divine couple, Radha and Krishna, rendered in a beautiful fusion style that blends elements of Madhubani art with ornate embellishments.
Key Features of the Artwork
Central Figures: Lord Krishna is depicted with his classic blue complexion, wearing a decorative pink headpiece adorned with a peacock feather. He holds his flute, which Radha gently rests her hands on. Radha is portrayed in profile, wearing an elegant green and orange traditional attire (ghagra-choli) adorned with delicate pearl-like jewelry.
The Setting: The couple stands beneath a stylized tree with a textured trunk and golden, circular patterns filling the background sky. Perched on a branch to the right is a beautifully detailed peacock with vibrant green and blue plumage.
Intricate Patterns: The painting is filled with traditional fine-line work and geometric patterns characteristic of Madhubani art. The ground is lush with bright pink and yellow flowers against a green field.
Ornate Borders & Embellishments: The artwork is framed by a striking multi-layered border featuring repetitive triangular and floral motifs. Small, reflective circular mirrors (reminiscent of Lippan or mud-mirror work) are delicately embedded along the border and within the tree branches, catching the light and adding a unique dimension and texture to the piece.
The overall composition uses a rich palette of deep blues, bright oranges, vibrant greens, and striking yellows, making it a captivating and deeply expressive piece of traditional folk fusion art.

FAQs
1. Is the pixel bead curtain available in different colors and designs?
Currently, the bead curtains are crafted exclusively in classic black and white glass beads.
As an artist, I am always experimenting with new designs, materials, and colors. While more options will be available in the future, I cannot say for certain when as each piece requires meticulous craftsmanship. I highly encourage purchasing the current design while it is in stock.
2. Where can this bead curtain be hung?
It is designed to fit a standard doorway of 3ft x 7ft. Apart from room doors, it can be used on passageways, as living room partitions, in pooja rooms, or even outside on porches!
3. How much does the bead curtain weigh?
The curtain itself weighs approximately 11kg. To ensure it reaches you safely, the total shipping weight (including protective packaging) maybe between 12–13kg.
4. Can standard curtain brackets hold the weight?
Yes. I recommend using standard steel brackets designed for a 1-inch dowel. Despite the weight, the installation is straightforward and hassle-free.
5. Can I walk through the curtain? Will it alter the strands and disturb the visual appearance?
The bead curtain is designed for both utility and beauty. You can easily pass through—even while carrying large items—without worry. The strands are tightly secured to the wooden dowel to ensure they remain perfectly aligned and the design is always clear.
6. What is the expected lifespan of the curtain?
This is an heirloom-quality product designed to last over 100 years because of the durable nature of glass and wood components used to make it. It is primarily built for indoor use, and if used outdoors or on a porch, weather exposure may affect its longevity.
7. Why is the curtain priced at Rs. 20,000?
This is an artisan product not found in the domestic market. Unlike mass-produced bead curtains, this piece features 37,700 glass beads that are hand strung, reviving a "lost art" of slow, intentional craft. When compared to international markets, this piece is priced very fairly for the level of detail, time (110 hours of dedication), and labour involved.
8. What is the recommended maintenance routine for the pixel bead curtain?
Regular Dusting: Dust the bead curtain every alternate day, or at least once a week.
Deep Cleaning: To remove grease and stubborn dirt, wrap a damp, soft cloth around the bead strands between your palms and wipe it.
What to Avoid: Do not submerge the curtain in water and soap solutions, as this may damage the wooden dowel.
Best Practice: Always clean the curtain while it is hanging.
9. Where can I see more videos of the curtain in motion?
Check out my YouTube Channel to see the curtain in action! I’ve posted videos showing how it behaves in heavy winds and how easily it handles large objects passing through it.
10. How will my bead curtain be packed and shipped?
Your 11kg bead curtain is packed with the utmost care. It is first wrapped securely in thick duck canvas, then placed inside a heavy-duty 7-ply cardboard box with ample protective packaging to ensure it arrives safely.
As a solo artist, I proudly ship all orders using India Post.

This painting is a vibrant and modern interpretation of Lord Ganesha, incorporating elements reminiscent of traditional Indian folk art like Madhubani or Gond, but with a contemporary, bold color palette.
Subject and Composition
Central Figure: The painting features a seated Lord Ganesha at the center. He is rendered in a minimalist white with fine black ink detailing. His trunk is curved toward a bowl of sweets (laddu), and he wears a crown and jewelry detailed with intricate geometric patterns.
The Tree of Life: Rising directly behind Ganesha is a large, stylized tree that fills the upper two-thirds of the inner frame. The tree features a central white trunk with numerous symmetrical branches laden with highly detailed, monochromatic leaves.
The Base: Ganesha sits atop a series of stylized blue and white waves or semicircles, suggesting he is seated by a river or in a sacred space above the water.
Color Palette
Primary Colors: The background is a bright, solid canary yellow, which creates a high-contrast backdrop for the black and white ink work.
Secondary Colors: A vivid turquoise blue is used prominently in the waves at the bottom and within the decorative border.
Monochrome: Black and white are used for all the fine-line detailing, providing a crisp, graphic quality to the piece.
Patterns and Borders
Fine Detailing: The entire work is characterized by "Bharni" style filling (typical of Madhubani), where almost every space is filled with repetitive lines, dots, and hatches.
The Border: The painting is enclosed by a complex multi-layered border:
An innermost row of black and white triangles.
A wider band of turquoise circles (each with a smaller white circle inside).
Outer columns of black and white floral or leaf-like motifs.
A final solid black frame that grounds the entire composition.
The overall effect is one of balance and celebratory energy, combining traditional symbolism with a very clean, illustrative aesthetic.
